Our 2013 fundraising campaign officially gets underway in January with our first-ever event: the Animal History Museum Inaugural Friendraiser!

If you’ve been browsing the planned exhibits on our website, enjoying the fun in our Facebook community, or even just following our tweets this past year, then you have some idea of our vision.  Want to learn more?  Want to get in on the ground floor?

If you love animals (as we do), and if you believe (as we do) that it’s time to create a place which reflects the important role that animals have always played in our lives, our cultures and our societies… then join us as we make a little history ourselves!  (Plus, get a tax deduction as allowed by law!)   World-renowned animal law scholar, author and our very own advisory council member, Steve Wise, will be joining us by Skype, as will cutting edge animal law attorney and board member, Adam Karp.  You can also check out our pop-up exhibit: “Western Hoofprints: The Romance and The Reality of Mustangs in the American West” and meet the exhibit’s curator, equine scholar Natalie Hansen.  We invite you to come hear about our plans, ask questions and celebrate with us as we raise a glass of champagne to formally kick off our 2013 fundraising campaign!

Of course, no party would be complete without something to go with that champagne.  Appetizers courtesy of our first-ever event sponsors; thank you so much to: Whole Foods Pasadena, Field Roast and Just Pure Foods!  Thanks as well to Nutro and Greenies for supplying tasty door prizes for four-legged family members back at home!

Only 50 tickets are available for this event! To reserve yours, or to make a donation in any amount, please visit:
