#GivingTuesday™ is a movement to create a national day of giving to kick off the holiday season. It takes place on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday. This year, the fourth annual Giving Tuesday is taking place on December 1, 2015. In the same way that retail stores take part in Black Friday, Giving Tuesday was created to bring communities together and provide incentives to give.  Wonderfully, a growing number of people are choosing to make year-end charitable gifts online as part of this national day of holiday giving.

How can you give back?

The Animal History Museum is excited to join Giving Tuesday. We’re asking our supporters to give back in one of two ways:

Make a monetary donation
You can make a one-time or recurring donation of any amount you choose. Our goal is to raise $2,500 that will go directly towards the creation of a permanent brick-and-mortar home for the Animal History Museum.  We’re especially delighted to announce that in honor of Giving Tuesday, an anonymous angel donor will match online donations to AHM up to our $2,500 goal!  It’s you who can make our concept for a museum focusing on the human-animal bond a reality.  Make your tax-deductible, year-end gift today and your dollars will go twice as far!

Pledge to get personally involved
By filling out a Volunteer Application, you can pledge your time and expertise to help us bring the museum to life.  Whether your interests are curatorial, web design, fundraising or simply lending a hand at events, we’re growing our team and we’d love to have you on board!

Thank you for supporting us!
