In Amanda’s own words:
The photo of the two of them together… that’s what I use pretty much all the time in Grannie Project literature.
The Grannie Project is a no-kill rescue focusing on senior pets located outside of Philadelphia, PA. It’s a small rescue that I started when I was inspired by saving Kate and Juliet, who had been dumped at a high-kill shelter when their owner died. I couldn’t bear the thought of leaving these 20-year-old girls there alone, and I was so sad at all of the other seniors I had to leave behind that day. I didn’t know it then, but adopting Kate and Juliet changed my life and though Kate left us all too soon – and Juliet one year to the day after her sister – their impact has been huge.
Please let me know what else I can tell you about my amazing Kate and Juliet or the organization founded in their honor 🙂
